A passion for deals.

Ryan Norman is the principal attorney at Ritmo Legal. Primarily focused on transactions and strategic advising, Ryan becomes deeply integrated into client company teams and operations in order to anticipate opportunities and needs and to fully understand the unique advantages and risk profiles of each client’s products, services, or position in the market. His experience ranges from boutique transactional firm management to multiple in-house stints as general counsel to varied companies from small technology startups to industry-leading global service companies.

Ryan is a graduate of UC Davis, King Hall School of Law, where he served on the negotiations team, moot court national competition team, and on the Journal of International Law & Policy. He is admitted to practice in California.

In addition to serving clients at Ritmo Legal, Ryan is a partner in Ritmo Ventures, COO and general counsel at OnSight Technology, and sometimes serves as adjunct professor at UC Davis, teaching venture capital transactions and startup advising to law students. Outside of these professional engagements, Ryan focuses on photography, woodworking, building, and various technology projects.
